This project emerges as an invitation from the Zapopan Art Museum (MAZ) to make a sound intervention for the piece 473.85 Kg. by La Favorita Colectivo that generated imaginary economies from the revaluation of money.
The material used for thiswork were the songs longer ranked on first place in annual sales lists from 1940 to the present time. The musical works that produced more money in thehistory of popular music were manipulated, processed and combined to create a new musical composition, evading the law of intellectual property.
This exercise aims to reflect the ephemeral value that some artistic works can achieve due to their success in the market.
