This piece is inspired by a list of concepts and fundamental principles that the Spanish filmmaker José Val del Omar proposes for the creation of his work.

"Mecamistica": Val del Omar refers to this term as an encounter between realism and mysticism, representing the unrepresentable, uniting extreme realism with the experience of the extraordinary and bringing the extraordinary into everyday life. In that sense, mecamistica comes down to "the aesthetic of the little things."
Description
A series of videos is reflected in small bodies of water and make visible the plastic properties of the liquid, while an electroacoustic composition formed by some fragments of the explorations in the sound field of José Val del Omar accompany the video passages.
"Water as a mirror of life" Water takes shapes similar to sculptures with the ability to reflect and distort what is happening around them as if it could transmute its fragile and fluid matter into something more solid.
