The “spectral” is a term that refers to the idea that the presence of someone or something can be felt even in their absence, through a tonality or sign that is found in space or in memory.
Series of photographs extract from video archive, where the gestures of musicians and composers are captured at the time of their performance.
The images are subsequently processed with effects generated on set before being photographed for example: reflections of text and images in water, distortions generated with lenses, translucent and hollow objects.
The intention is to generate ghostly images, where the musician remains veiled and gestures become the protagonists of these interpretations.
