Black noise consists of a sound that is emitted below the frequencies that the human ear can perceive, at a level below the hearing threshold.
In an exercise of collecting and processing images and videos of natural disasters and buildings, captured just at the moment of their destruction, the piece explores situations where black noise is present.
This sound phenomenon, despite being imperceptible to the human ear, directly impacts us, creating atmospheres or environments that alter our daily life.
This project seeks to make visible forces that escape our perception, as the inaudible and the politics of noise and silence.
